The Siemens Echomax XPS-15F is an ultrasonic level transducer designed for reliable, non-contact level measurement of liquids and solids in both indoor and outdoor applications. With a measuring range of 1 to 50 ft (0.3 to 15 m) and a 6° beam angle, it is well suited for deep wet wells, lift stations, storage bins, and water and wastewater treatment processes.
Built for demanding industrial environments, the XPS-15F is fully submersible, hermetically sealed, and resistant to steam and corrosive chemicals. Its non-contact ultrasonic technology provides accurate level measurement while minimizing maintenance requirements. The transducer can be installed with or without flanges and is compatible with stilling wells and standpipes for added application flexibility.
The Echomax XPS-15F emits ultrasonic pulses in a narrow beam toward the material surface. The connected level controller measures the time it takes for the echo to return and calculates the distance to the surface, providing continuous, accurate level measurement without contacting the process media.
