The OmniSite OmniBeacon is a smart cellular alarm and alert system that combines the simplicity of a traditional alarm beacon with the power of remote monitoring. Designed for water and wastewater facilities, lift stations, pump stations, and other critical infrastructure, the OmniBeacon provides immediate local alarms while simultaneously sending real-time notifications to operators via cellular communication.
Installing just like a conventional alarm light, the OmniBeacon connects directly to an existing alarm output. When an alarm condition occurs, the unit activates a bright LED beacon and an 85 dB audible siren while transmitting instant notifications through the cellular network. Operators receive alerts by text message, email, and voice call, enabling faster response times and reducing the risk of equipment damage, overflows, and environmental incidents.
Built for harsh outdoor environments, the OmniBeacon features a NEMA 4X-rated enclosure, integrated 4G LTE cellular connectivity, and a rechargeable backup battery that continues monitoring for up to 12 hours during power outages. Every unit also includes access to OmniSite's GuardDog® cloud platform, allowing users to monitor stations, review alarm history, generate reports, and manage multiple sites from any computer, tablet, or smartphone.
The OmniBeacon monitors one or two alarm inputs from existing control equipment. When an alarm or power loss is detected, it immediately activates the local LED beacon and audible siren while transmitting the event over the cellular network to OmniSite's secure cloud servers. From there, notifications are automatically delivered to designated personnel, and event data is logged within the GuardDog® platform for remote monitoring, reporting, and system management.
